Shop Small This Year

This year our family has made the choice to shop small for the holidays. I suppose it hits home even more now that my sister and I own a small business, but, truthfully, I have always loved shopping small. I love giving gifts that are handcrafted, or one-of-a-kind, or really anything that isn’t stamped “Made in China”. I also love knowing my purchase meant even more to someone else.

You will never find better customer service! Ever! Small business owners work very hard to give you the best, most memorable, buying experience. Every sale is important and gratitude for each sale is in abundance. So, this year why not look around your community at the businesses that make it a better place to live. Think of the small online businesses who have worked hard to show you they appreciate each and every one of your purchases. This year see if you can check off that list with these small companies. The best part is that you won’t just be making each gift special for your loved ones, you will have had a hand in helping keep small businesses surviving and thriving! What a gift that is! Merry Christmas to you!

Need any ideas? Here’s just a handful of superb small businesses that deserve a little shout out for their amazingness!
